Plenty of potential kind-of-space but we certainly won't be returning back; because it is just not as pet friendly as we would like. The food was actually pretty nice and found ourselves spending between 800-1200 baht per visit. Hats off to the cheff** We didn't mind the premium cost for coffee and drinks; and the 2 hour limit on the wifi... thinking it was a space we can relax with our little quiet Pomeranian who doesn't even bark, let alone leave our side. However when we were just playing fetch with our little Pomeranian in the empty garden, (no one to interrupt) a woman rushes out from the cafe to throw out some eye daggers, to my wife as if our tiny little Pomeranian was committing a crime. Seemed extreme. Daggers received and wifey stopped playing. We left. #petfriendlyish The space has outdoor seating and nice on overcast days. It was also empty. Certainly enough garden for small doggies to play fetch ,BUT the staff may need some updated training, or learn how to deal with customers needs because they either think doggies can fetch while on a leash? Or perhaps they just don't care. I personally think the latter. We were told that our tiny little puppy needed to be on a leash. I asked why exactly, she stumbled like she even forgot why dogs need to on leashes... Then mumbles something about "it's the rules" , "even here outside?" Shes like oh we don't want her running around... It's like they can already see she doesn't even leave our side...only to bring the ball back... But the issue seems to me is that she is running on the grass while she's playing fetch with my wife. #sodumb I gather it's not a about anything else as there was no one outside that was being affected by our little dogs play* "just the rules" apparently. They sure can and they sure did... They flexed the rules and off we were to another dog friendly cafe that actually lets you genuinely play with your dog. (The woodlands and dog story home) "Garden isn't as well kept" but absolutely more pet friendly. I digress. It's understandable to have many out of control dogs to be kept on a leash. Especially indoors. However I think it's a mistake to copy and paste rules without thinking and forever ruining what could have been amazing for both parties. My peace is ultimately interrupted by their limits to which it really didn't need to be. Leashes serve a purpose and it should be understood by everyone. We certainly do. My wife didn't appreciate her play time with our special dog be affected by a pointless rule that had no place in the moment. #dogfriendlyish

The cafe’s setting is its standout feature. Surrounded by a lush, green garden, the two-story wooden house is bathed in natural light, thanks to large windows that offer calming views of the greenery outside. The interior is tastefully decorated with wooden furniture, soft furnishings, and thoughtful touches like books and small plants, creating a cozy, inviting atmosphere. Whether you’re lounging in the air-conditioned indoor seating or relaxing in the spacious outdoor garden area, the ambiance feels like a peaceful retreat. The upstairs area is perfect for groups, offering board games and a laid-back space to hang out. The pet-friendly policy is a big plus, making it a delightful spot for pet owners to bring their furry friends. Tavy’s Home Cafe is a delightful haven for those seeking a tranquil, home-like atmosphere in the bustling Bangchak area. The combination of a beautiful garden, cozy interior, and pet-friendly environment makes it a standout destination. While the food and drinks are solid, there’s room for refinement, especially with desserts that could be less sweet. Nevertheless, the serene setting, friendly service, and reasonable prices make it a spot I’d happily return to for a relaxing coffee break or casual meal. Highly recommended for cafe-hoppers and pet owners looking for a unique, calming experience in Bangkok. The staff are friendly and welcoming, adding to the homey feel of the cafe. Service is generally attentive. The team’s dedication to creating a pleasant experience is evident, and they were accommodating to both walk-ins and pet owners.

Very cute cafe with some spaghetti dishes. I’d recommend the tomato and pesto spaghetti. Drinks were nice, but don’t order cakes. The place is quite spacious with play space for dogs.

I really loved spending my time at this café. It’s such a peaceful place in the middle of Bangkok — surrounded by nature and filled with calm energy. The moment I stepped in, I felt relaxed. The outdoor area is full of green plants, and the indoor space is cozy with two floors to choose from. It’s perfect whether you want to chill quietly alone or have a nice talk with friends. I also love that pets are allowed here — it makes the atmosphere even warmer. The parking space is convenient (around 4–5 cars), and everything feels well thought out. Their coffee is nice and smooth, just what I needed. They also have food options, so you can enjoy both a drink and a meal without rushing. It’s located near BTS Bang Chak Station, inside Sukhumvit 97/1 Alley — very easy to find. Open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, closed on Tuesdays. This café made me feel calm and recharged. I’ll definitely come back whenever I need a quiet break from the busy city life.
